About The Position
J. Allen Toyota is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to enhance its pre-owned inventory by sourcing and acquiring quality vehicles. This role involves building customer relationships, market research, and identifying acquisition opportunities. The specialist will act as a 'vehicle hunter,' connecting with customers and private sellers, and utilizing data to find desirable vehicles for the dealership.

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with service customers and identify opportunities to purchase or trade their vehicles
- Provide customers with complimentary vehicle history reports and market valuations
- Appraise vehicles and work with our management team to acquire quality inventory
- Search online marketplaces and other sources to find vehicles that fit our inventory needs
- Contact private sellers and create opportunities to purchase vehicles
- Utilize customer data and equity opportunities to identify potential acquisitions
- Partner with Service and Sales teams to create a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on acquisition opportunities
