VDC Coordinator

Faith Technologies•Olathe, KS

About The Position

The VDC Coordinator establishes and executes model-based coordination processes for assigned projects, working closely with the Senior VDC Coordinator. The position supports projects and business groups across FTI, from coordination planning and startup through signoff, fabrication, and field handoff. Work may support EPC delivery, electrical construction, integrated delivery teams, or other FTI groups. The coordinator may establish and administer coordination processes, including project-specific BIM Execution Plans and workflows, while each engineer, designer, and trade partner retains responsibility for its own design, model content, scope, and approvals. This is a centralized, hands-on individual contributor role without direct reports. Project assignments and priorities are established by the VDC Director, with day-to-day support and workload alignment coordinated through the Senior VDC Coordinator. Design changes, scope decisions, contractual direction, and schedule commitments remain with the appropriate project leader or responsible project participant. The coordinator identifies stalled items and works with the Senior VDC Coordinator to escalate them through established channels. The position works between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, although work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. Travel is 10–20%.
