About The Position
Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) are seeking dependable and caring Van Riders to help children travel safely and comfortably. Van Riders accompany children during transportation and help provide a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for children and families. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team supporting young children with developmental delays and disabilities, primarily from birth through kindergarten, and helping them arrive safely and ready for their day. Full-time and part-time positions are available, and previous experience is not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to child safety.
- Caring, patient, and comfortable working with young children.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures.
- Ability to remain attentive and focused in a busy environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
- Basic written communication and math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Accompany children during transportation and help ensure they travel safely and comfortably.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and positive transportation experience for children and families.
- Communicate professionally with children, families, coworkers, and drivers.
- Follow transportation and safety procedures.
- Work compassionately with children from birth through age six and their families.
