Requirements
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
- Must have Medical/Wheelchair Van or Bus Driving experience!!
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid Driver’s License in state of hire.
- CDL license within six (6) months of hire required if location utilizes vehicles requiring a CDL license.
- Have a minimum of one year experience in working with the frail and elderly population.

- Experience driving a van or bus.
Responsibilities
- Drive a van or bus to transport participants to and from the center, medical appointments, and other activities.
- Assist participants in boarding and alighting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide basic assistance to participants as needed during transport.
- Communicate effectively with participants, center staff, and supervisors.
