About The Position

Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) are seeking dependable, caring, and safety-minded Van Drivers to transport children to and from the Academy. Drivers help children travel safely and comfortably and provide families with confidence through reliable, patient, and positive service. The position supports children’s access to Early Intervention Day Treatment services and contributes to their daily routines. MKSA and KULA serve children from birth through kindergarten, with potential summer services for elementary school-aged children. The role involves working appropriately with young children, including children with developmental disabilities, developmental delays, and medical needs. Drivers communicate with families, employees, and clinic leadership; follow assigned routes, schedules, procedures, and safety requirements; account for children entering and exiting the vehicle; conduct vehicle and safety checks; report concerns and vehicle issues; keep the vehicle clean and organized; and protect the privacy of children and families. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. No previous experience is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.
Ability to work appropriately with children from birth through age six and families who may be at risk.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
Ability to read and understand instructions, safety requirements, correspondence, and company procedures.
Ability to prepare simple written correspondence and communicate effectively in individual and small-group settings.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases, word-processing programs, spreadsheets, email, and internet-based software.
Basic math and practical problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
Patient and comfortable working with young children.
Friendly, respectful, and professional.
Attentive to details and able to follow established procedures.
Calm and able to use good judgment in changing situations.
Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in an active environment.

Responsibilities

Safely transport children to and from the Academy.
Create a calm, friendly, and welcoming experience for children during transportation.
Communicate professionally with families, employees, and clinic leadership.
Follow assigned routes, schedules, transportation procedures, and safety requirements.
Ensure children are properly accounted for when entering and exiting the vehicle.
Conduct required vehicle and safety checks.
Promptly report delays, concerns, incidents, or vehicle issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle environment.
Protect the privacy and confidentiality of children and families.
Represent MKSA and KULA with professionalism, patience, and care.
