About The Position

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, Oklahoma is hiring a Van Driver to support its long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The role operates and maintains transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy, and assists passengers with boarding and exiting. When not providing transportation services, the driver provides other services as requested by management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including reading and interpreting road signs in English.
• Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs.
• Reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions.
• Ability to administer First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Possess and maintain a safe driving record.
• Must be on call and open to working part time.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain transportation vehicles safely and courteously.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Fuel the vehicles.
• Ensure scheduled periodic vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
• Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
• Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle.
• Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
