About The Position

The school is seeking a part-time Van Driver to transport students safely to and from school in a 15-passenger van. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a morning route from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and an afternoon route from 1:50 PM to 2:50 PM, for approximately 2 hours per day and 10 hours per week of scheduled driving. Additional hours or duties may be available, depending on school needs, to reach 20 hours per week. Pay is $20.00 per hour. The role supports students and their education in a small, community-focused Christian school.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Safe driving habits and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working with children.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the mission and values of a Christian school.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school using a 15-passenger van.
• Follow assigned pickup and drop-off schedules and routes.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for students.
• Complete basic vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow school transportation policies and applicable traffic laws.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and families as needed.
