About The Position
The school is seeking a part-time Van Driver to transport students safely to and from school in a 15-passenger van. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule and approximately two hours per day, or 10 hours per week, of scheduled driving. Additional hours or duties may be available, depending on school needs, to reach up to 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Safe driving habits and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Dependable and punctual, and comfortable working with children.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the mission and values of a Christian school.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school using a 15-passenger van.
- Follow assigned pickup and drop-off schedules and routes.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for students.
- Complete basic vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow school transportation policies and applicable traffic laws.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and families as needed.
