About The Position

The Van Driver supports hospital operations and patient care by providing transportation in a community-focused environment. The role also serves as a friendly point of contact for patients, families, staff, and visitors, helping the hospital deliver safe, high-quality care.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the heaviest class vehicle to be driven.
• CPR and First Aid training.
• Previous transportation experience required.
• Must be 25 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate transportation vehicles safely and comply with all traffic laws.
• Maintain the appearance of the vehicle and promptly report vehicle maintenance needs.
• Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Lift and transfer patients appropriately and apply all safety equipment.
• Be competent in CPR and/or handle patient emergencies.
