About The Position

Ridwell is a service that helps communities reuse and recycle items that cities do not collect, through doorstep pickup and mail-in services. As a certified B-Corp, sustainability is central to the company’s mission to empower communities to waste less. Ridwell Denver is hiring full-time drivers to safely operate company vehicles, complete pickups, and handle materials efficiently in all weather conditions. The role offers growth opportunities and professional development as the company expands. Drivers work four ten-hour shifts, scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Starting wage is $22 per hour, with guaranteed tenure-based wage increases and a $50 monthly cell phone stipend. Base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Requirements

Maintain consistent attendance and be present as scheduled.
Be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for at least three years.
Read and follow written or oral instructions in English.
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Own and be able to use a smartphone and Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Communicate effectively digitally via text and email.
Pass a background check and motor vehicle history check; pass a physical medical exam if offered the position.
Have previous pickup and/or route delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Ridwell high-roof cargo vans throughout the Denver area.
Complete 125–150 daily stops efficiently and accurately.
Collect members’ materials from designated bins at their homes.
Assist with remaining stops after completing an assigned route.
Navigate routes using provided smartphone apps.
Communicate regularly with Driver Support about route timing.
Manage vehicle loading and unloading efficiently.
Deliver Ridwell bins and new member kits to members’ homes.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with Ridwell members.
Work safely outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes, including heat, cold, moisture, and wind.
