About The Position

They are seeking a part-time Van Driver to join their team at Hamilton Parc, an active adult community in Guilderland, NY. The Van Driver will be responsible for operating and maintaining the van, transporting residents, and providing support for events and resident services.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of driving experience
• Valid driver's license
• Efficient knowledge of traffic violations
• Clean driving record that demonstrates sound judgment and good safety habits
• Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people and to solve problems involving residents, personnel, emergency situations, etc.

Nice To Haves

• CDL is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains buses in a safe and legal manner
• Transports van to repair shop when required for oil changes and all necessary repairs
• Maintains daily trip log, detailing mileage and gas
• Reports any vehicle accidents or resident injuries to the Manager immediately
• Reviews calendar monthly, weekly, and daily for scheduled trips to plan accordingly
• Assists Lifestyle Coordinator with scheduled events, parties, etc.
• Assists team members with light cleaning duties when there are no resident activities scheduled that require driving the van
• Provides backup coverage/support for front desk Concierge – as needed
