About The Position
Hallcon is hiring Van Drivers to provide safe, dependable transportation for railroad crews and support railway operations. Hallcon provides the vehicle, fuel, insurance, and comprehensive training. No CDL, high school diploma, GED, or resume is required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. The role has no high-pressure delivery quotas, package loading or unloading, or prolonged standing. Schedules are flexible and may vary; shifts are not scheduled. The starting pay rate is $11.73.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably live within 30 minutes of the location.
Responsibilities
- Safely and reliably transport railroad crews to assigned locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
- Use navigation tools effectively.
- Adhere to Hallcon's safe driving standards.
- Communicate and write in English.
