About The Position
Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, Idaho, is hiring a part-time Van Driver/Transportation Specialist for its skilled nursing facility. The role schedules patient appointments, assists geriatric patients with boarding and exiting the facility transport vehicle, and transports patients to and from appointments. The position may also supervise a part-time driver.
Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to a height of 3 to 4 feet and push, move, or carry that weight a minimum distance of 200 feet.
- Current driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma.
- Reliable and organized.
- Great attitude and a desire to work with geriatric people.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Prior driving experience is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient doctor and other appointments.
- Load and unload geriatric patients into the facility transport vehicle.
- Transport patients to and from doctor and other appointments.
- Potentially supervise a part-time driver.
