About The Position

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, Oklahoma, is hiring a Van Driver CNA to support its long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The role operates and maintains transportation vehicles with an emphasis on safety and courteous service. It also includes assisting passengers and providing other services requested by management when transportation work is not underway. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the facility’s clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Requirements

CNA license required.
Ability to safely and appropriately drive a multi-passenger vehicle, including reading and interpreting road signs in English.
Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs.
Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs.
Reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions.
Ability to administer First Aid and CPR.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Must possess and maintain a safe driving record.
One year of experience is listed.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain transportation vehicles safely and courteously.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs when necessary.
Fuel the vehicles.
Ensure scheduled periodic vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle.
Provide other services requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
Be on call and open to working part time.
