About The Position

Player 15 Group, the sports and entertainment company behind the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Valley Suns, and Mortgage Matchup Center, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated In-Arena Host to help bring energy and excitement to the Valley Suns’ in-arena show. The host serves as the primary on-court personality at all home games, performing for an audience with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm. The role also includes participating in pre-production meetings, rehearsals, and soundchecks; clearly and accurately explaining live-presentation promotions and activations to fans; and hosting community and brand events throughout the community.

This is a part-time position. The work is mainly indoors, with less than 5% exposure to weather. It involves sedentary physical demands, including exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and the ability to move throughout the arena for long periods. Player 15 Group describes its workplace as in-person, collaborative, and people-first.

Requirements

• Ability to memorize and recite specific copy, including partner taglines and introductions.
• Strong on-camera presence, professionalism, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to ad-lib when necessary and operate within strict timing guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills when working with staff, fans, and other stakeholders.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of related work experience in live events.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to move throughout the arena for long periods of time.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities
