About The Position

The Valet at Charmant Hotel provides safe and efficient valet services to members and guests, helping create a positive and lasting guest experience. The role includes greeting arriving guests, explaining valet services and procedures, assisting with accessibility needs and baggage, parking and retrieving vehicles, and following safe driving procedures. The position is part-time and pays $9.00–$11.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
Experience driving both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Ability to read and write English.
Superior communication skills.
U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests upon arrival, open vehicle and facility doors, offer directions, explain valet procedures and services, and perform access control responsibilities for the valet area.
Assist members and guests with wheelchairs, walkers, other medical equipment, and baggage when needed.
Issue claim tickets to members and guests.
Park vehicles in the designated parking area.
Complete valet tickets with the vehicle’s license plate number, parking location, make, and color.
Place vehicle keys and corresponding tickets on the valet board in the office.
Retrieve vehicles for members and guests.
Drive safely and follow established driving procedures and safety protocols.
Ensure vehicle windows and sunroofs are closed and vehicles are locked after parking.
Report tip earnings to the manager.
