This role is responsible for supporting the Valet manager in all departmental initiatives related to the casino grand opening, including hiring, training, and process/procedure development. Responsibilities include valet car parking/retrieval, garage and parking oversight, cashiering, coat checking, and shuttle services. The Valet Supervisor owns the Valet area arrival experience, ensuring cleanliness, proper customer-facing signage, directional cues, and audio/visual components, while maintaining the highest level of welcoming and promptness from staff. This role also assists in the development and implementation of goals and objectives for the Valet department, implements departmental procedures and policies for efficient, safe, and secure operations, and enforces these procedures to protect operations from loss due to mistake or theft. The supervisor investigates, follows up on, and reports incidents and damage claims, taking corrective actions as appropriate, and ensures all guest problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within established guidelines. Additionally, the role reviews scheduling and staffing levels to accommodate guest volumes, maintains and reviews tracking and logging processes to measure productivity and capacity, and engages in all aspects of leading employees, including hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, counseling, recognition, team building, and developing team members. The supervisor drives a sense of urgency within the team, ensuring attendants run/jog to and from cars, sets high personal standards for performance, encourages others to do the same, and implements initiatives to improve the employee experience and employee opinion ratings. The role consistently demonstrates legendary leadership, influence, drive, innovation, and commercial awareness.
