About The Position

The Valet Supervisor assists with the daily operations of valet parking and transportation services, ensuring efficient and safe operations while providing excellent customer service on their assigned shift. This role involves supervising staff, handling guest interactions, and maintaining facilities. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Valet Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to carry out all job functions required of Valet Attendants.
  • Ability to handle guest opportunities.
  • Ability to supervise staff.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work long and varied shifts.
  • Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Must have neat and legible handwriting.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and a team player with energy.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minium of one (1) year valet/transportation experience required.
  • California Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Assist the department Manager and supervise all valet department Team Members on their assigned shift.
  • Discuss and consult with Manager to ensure a positive working environment for valet Team Members and Guests.
  • Operate the Valet Electronic System.
  • Inform Team Members of any new and/or changes in property and/or departmental policies and/or procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with CPUC for transportation of guests.
  • Ensure that Team Members perform to the property's standards of service and hospitality and follow all policies and procedures.
  • Handle all Guests' and Team Members' requests and complaints in an effective and proactive manner.
  • Review and inspect assigned working environment for any and all safety and security hazards.
  • Ensure all Team Members possess the proper tools and training to carry out their normal job functions.
  • Keep well informed regarding all valet departmental policies and/or procedures, upcoming events and communicate them to all Team Members.
  • Responsible for addressing and documenting unsatisfactory performance and policy violations of valet Team Members.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
