We are in search of warm, friendly, courteous, and professional Valet Parking Attendants, responsible for greeting guests upon their arrival and providing customer service excellence by parking and retrieving guest vehicles and providing luggage service. Requirements

  • An experienced professional with a minimum of one year of experience as a parking attendant in a similar operation or hotel property.
  • An outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, and a strong commitment to Safety.
  • Places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty.
  • A class 5 driver’s license and ability to drive both a manual and automatic transmission.
  • A clean driver’s abstract.
  • An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot and resolve situations efficiently.
  • Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • An excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

  • Always provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike.
  • Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
  • Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking area.
  • Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
  • Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibility.
  • Maintain lobby, front door, valet stand, and luggage room cleanliness and order.
  • Market the entire hotel when rooming a guest.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel amenities and layout, local attractions, and airport transportation.
  • Keep up to date on in-house groups and functions.
  • Issue proper luggage tags, stores bags properly, cross-reference when issuing.
  • Ensure deliveries/luggage are brought to correct rooms.
  • Always demonstrate a readiness to help.
  • Operate bell carts with care, so as not to damage property or cause injury.
  • Able to accurately give directions and information regarding the immediate and metro areas.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  • Practice safety standards at all times, leading by example.
