About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a safe Valet Driver for Arnold Palmer Hospital. The role focuses on delivering a seamless transportation and parking experience by safely handling and parking customer vehicles, communicating courteously, and responding effectively to client requests and concerns. Drivers are expected to follow traffic and safety rules, know the local area, and arrive on time in a clean uniform for each scheduled shift.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States, with valid documentation provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing or balancing, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to help customers have a seamless transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for every scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
