About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a safe Valet Driver who enjoys interacting with people. The role focuses on providing clients with a seamless transportation experience by addressing requests and concerns, communicating proactively, and safely parking vehicles. Valet Drivers explain rates, follow traffic laws, report safety issues and unusual occurrences, and maintain a clean, complete uniform while working scheduled shifts. The position is located at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States, with valid documentation provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know local major streets, landmarks, and freeways to help customers have a seamless transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout each shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
