About The Position

SP+ is hiring a seasonal Valet Driver. The role involves parking customer vehicles safely, communicating valet rates and responding to customer questions, and helping customers with directions when needed. The Valet Driver is expected to follow traffic laws and safe driving practices, report accidents and other safety or policy concerns to management, and arrive on time in a clean uniform that is worn throughout each scheduled shift. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Have a valid state driver’s license, a current address, and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
• Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Respond quickly and kindly to customer questions.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major area streets, landmarks, and freeways and provide directions to customers when needed.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
