About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking safe Valet Drivers who enjoy interacting with people and providing a smooth customer experience. The role involves inspecting and safely parking vehicles, explaining valet rates, following traffic laws, and responding professionally to customer requests and concerns. Drivers are expected to arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout their shift. The position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Requirements

• Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide valid documentation establishing eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
• Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Be able to stand and walk regularly, handle cash and equipment, occasionally sit or climb or balance, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive client experience by resolving requests and concerns efficiently, finding solutions to problems, and communicating proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to support customers’ transportation needs.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
