About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a safe, customer-focused Valet Driver who enjoys interacting with people. The role centers on providing a seamless transportation experience for clients by safely parking vehicles, communicating professionally, and responding effectively to requests and concerns. Drivers are expected to arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout their shift. The position is located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Requirements

• A valid state driver’s license, a current address, and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
• Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit and climb or balance; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify ways to address problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Use knowledge of major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to provide customers with a seamless transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout each shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
