About The Position

LAZ Parking is seeking energetic and responsible Valet Attendants to provide professional and exceptional customer service while parking and retrieving customer vehicles. As the first and last point of contact for clients and customers, Valet Attendants play a crucial role in the company's success by creating a positive and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate is a charismatic, responsible, and good driver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively under pressure and independently.

Requirements

A valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Willingness to be flexible and work multiple facility locations.
Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive a standard transmission.
Strong customer service experience.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English easily.

Nice To Haves

Cash handling experience is preferred.
Parking industry experience is preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Greet all customers by name, attend to their needs, and build rapport.
Help direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars.
Demonstrate a self-reliant attitude and ability to work with or without supervision.
Promote excellent customer relations by smiling and going above and beyond.
Work in various weather conditions, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
Lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
Stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
Bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
