About The Position

The part-time Valet Attendant at SELIG PARKING provides exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles. The role helps create a positive first and last impression for guests while upholding company standards of excellence. The attendant also supports smooth operations and guest satisfaction, including during peak periods and special events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Proficiency in handling cash and processing payments accurately.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure vehicle safety and security.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and operate vehicles continuously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Experience in a valet or parking attendant position is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing a welcoming and courteous experience.
• Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner, ensuring the security of guests’ vehicles and belongings.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and keys using the company’s tracking systems.
• Assist guests with directions and information about local attractions and services.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Promptly report incidents or accidents to management and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the valet stand and parking areas.
• Provide support during peak times and special events, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
