About The Position

The Valet Attendant makes an exceptional impression on every guest by engaging with guests and customers in a positive, friendly manner and providing a safe, efficient service. The role involves maintaining awareness of safety, organizing and tracking vehicles and keys, and helping create a positive experience for customers and teammates.

Requirements

Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
Friendly and outgoing, with the ability to smile during customer interactions.
Upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Ability to run and move quickly.
Ability to organize cars efficiently.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license in state of residency.
Able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Ability to build relationships with customers.
Organized.
Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.

Responsibilities

Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
Operate vehicles safely to minimize the potential for accidents.
Keep track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
Provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain organization at the operation.
Create a positive environment for customers and teammates through enthusiasm about the job.
Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
Help facilitate the transition at the end of a shift.
Maintain a sharp, neat appearance and grooming at all times.
Complete cleaning duties as assigned.
Adhere to VPNE's attendance policy.
