Vacuum Truck Operators - Class 1 or 3
About The Position
Ambipar Response Industrial Services is seeking Vacuum Truck Operators to join their team. The company specializes in providing environmental management services to the oil/gas, utility, and construction industries across Western Canada. They operate a large fleet of modern Vacuum, Combo, Hydrovac, Water, Gravel & Winch Units, with services utilized on projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting, and Civil Construction Projects. Ambipar emphasizes high-quality service, industry-leading training, technology, and safety as their top priority, offering 24/7 support from their Maintenance, Safety, and Operations Departments. This role involves operating Vacuum Truck Units on current projects locally and across Western Canada, primarily within the Downhole Drilling division.
Requirements
- Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes
- 13 or 18 Speed Transmission experience (must be able to drive manual transmission)
- Clean drivers abstract
- Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive
- Confined Space
- Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug Alcohol Testing
Nice To Haves
- PCST, PST, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance
- Vacuum Truck Operating Experience on Drilling Rig, Pipeline HDD & Land Spraying Projects
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations
- Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements
- Complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments
- Attend daily safety meetings
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations as required
Benefits
- Pipeline HDD & Civil Project Wages range from $29/HR to $35/HR + OT
- Drilling Rig Project Wages range from $400/DAY to $500/DAY
- $500.00 Bonus for referring new employees
