About The Position

Axos Bank is seeking a UX Researcher I to support Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Invest, and Securities by delivering research and insights that improve engagement and the customer experience. The role conducts foundational research, synthesizes findings into clear reports, and works with stakeholders to ensure customer insights inform business and design decisions. This position is onsite at Axos Bank’s headquarters in San Diego, California; remote and hybrid work are not available.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in UX/UI research.
• Demonstrated experience conducting competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and user testing.
• Experience writing screeners and research reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive analyses and write reports identifying opportunities and risks.
• Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews to define research objectives and understand business needs.
• Plan, moderate, and analyze user testing sessions.
• Develop user screeners to recruit appropriate research participants.
• Write research reports communicating findings, insights, and recommendations to cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with designers, product teams, and business stakeholders to support research-informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate documentation of research activities and deliverables.
