About The Position

Thomson Reuters is reimagining how UX research is communicated and consumed across the business. We are looking for a visionary UX Research Program Manager who sits at the intersection of research practice, product thinking, and technical development. This is not a traditional program manager role — this is a builder, a strategist, and an innovator who will fundamentally transform how research insights are discovered and activated across our design and product organization. What You'll Do as UX Research Ops – Program Manager: 1. Reimagine the Research Repository: Lead the design and development of a next-generation research repository. Drive the transition toward decision-oriented research artifacts and define what "good" research communication looks like across the organization. 2. Build and Scale Shared AI Tooling: Identify, develop, and scale AI tools that benefit the entire research and design organization — including tooling for synthesis, reporting, metadata querying, and insight tracking from research to implementation. Democratize access to data so insights reach cross-functional teams in design, product, and engineering. 3. Align and Enable the Research Organization: Serve as the single-threaded owner for research AI transformation. Create structure around shared practices, facilitate knowledge sharing, and ensure AI upskilling is consistent and community-driven — not siloed. Help researchers and designers carve out dedicated space to learn, experiment, and grow.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of UX research methodologies (generative vs. evaluative) and research operations
  • Proven program management experience — scoping initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and driving toward outcomes
  • Familiarity with how UX research works and how insights translate into product decisions
  • Experience building internal tools or platforms, not just managing existing ones
  • Comfort working with APIs, MCP integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI tooling; light coding a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across researchers, designers, product, and leadership
  • Systems thinking — connecting foundational research, AI tooling, and insight delivery into a coherent vision

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI agent frameworks or synthetic user/persona research concepts
  • Background in enterprise SaaS or professional services products
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
