About The Position

Amber is seeking a UX Designer for a remote contract engagement adapting the UX/UI and controls of a high-quality AA Unreal Engine 5 narrative game for a cloud streaming platform. The game’s story and content are locked; the role focuses on making the experience easy to pick up while preserving its pacing. The core direction has only been prototyped, and many design problems remain open. The designer will collaborate with UX designers, engineers, technical artists, QA, and producers. This is a hands-on role requiring substantial independent production of interaction maps, wireframes, and implementation specifications. The engagement is expected to last about two months, with a possible extension, and the candidate is expected to be productive within the first week. Preferred working hours are 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Mexico City time; candidates in Europe should overlap at least 7 a.m.–12 p.m. Mexico City time.
