About The Position

ASU EdPlus is seeking a UX Designer Senior to join its Product & UX Technology team and lead design across complex, high-impact student experiences, including nondegree pathways, undergraduate admissions, and related ASU enterprise products. The role owns experience design from early problem framing through concept development, detailed design, implementation, and iteration. The designer works independently, applying strong craft and judgment to create simple, cohesive solutions while navigating complex systems, balancing user needs with constraints, and translating abstract ideas into creative design direction. The role collaborates with product managers, engineers, researchers, content strategists, business stakeholders, and other partners to influence product direction and ensure user experience informs strategic and implementation decisions. It is an in-person, hybrid position based at ASU’s SkySong workspace in Scottsdale, Arizona; the employee must be able to reliably commute there. Flexible work options, including alternate and hybrid schedules, are subject to approval under ASU policy. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; ASU EdPlus will not sponsor this position.
