About The Position

Pattern is hiring a full-time UX Design Intern for Summer 2027. The approximately 12-week internship will follow a hybrid schedule from the company’s office in Lehi, Utah. The intern will work on product design projects across multiple products and offices, helping Pattern scale product functionality and address the needs of a wider range of users. The role involves researching users and worldwide ecommerce marketplaces, creating wireframes with established interface patterns, designing interactions for core business workflows, and documenting and presenting software requirements. The intern will collaborate with product and development teams, conduct user testing, help ensure product UX quality, and share ongoing learning with the UX team. Success calls for attention to detail, curiosity, effective communication, and the ability to understand user needs and connect design solutions to Pattern’s goals. Pattern’s UX team has eight designers across two offices and works on four products. There is no guaranteed position at the end of the internship, though high-performing interns may be considered for a post-internship role or an extension.
