About The Position

Pattern is hiring full-time UX Design Interns for Summer 2027. The approximately 12-week internship is based in Lehi, Utah, and follows a hybrid schedule. Interns will work on product design projects across Pattern’s products and offices, helping improve product functionality and support the needs of different user types as the company scales. The role involves researching users and ecommerce marketplaces, designing user interactions and workflows, and working with product and development teams. Interns will also contribute to requirements documentation, user testing, and product UX quality, while continuing to learn and share UX concepts with the UX team. There is no guaranteed role at the end of the internship, though high-performing candidates may be considered for a post-internship role or an extension.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in design, product design, UX, or a related discipline.
Must be a junior or senior in a college program.
Have a portfolio showcasing at least one or two UX design projects or case studies and demonstrating design skills and thought process.
Experience designing websites and mobile experiences using Figma or similar design tools.
Experience with video editing software.
Experience with user testing software.

Nice To Haves

Previous UX internship experience.
Demonstrated UX skills and practical project experience; the posting notes these are valued more than having a degree specifically in UX.

Responsibilities
