About The Position

The Utility associate supports restaurant, kiosk, and retail operations by restocking locations and transporting products from shared kitchens. The role provides timely, accurate, and friendly support to team members and helps create first-class experiences for the traveling public. Associates are expected to follow company service standards and core values, maintain a safe and respectful work environment, and provide courteous and efficient service to customers and coworkers. The position description may change during employment, and additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
Experience handling chemicals properly.
Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
Ability to work in a high-energy, demanding environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and with team members.
Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment with customers and peers.
Ability to work various shifts in a team-oriented, 7/365 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
Strong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
Positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and respond to unexpected situations.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform essential tasks involving standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in environments with varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environment.
ServSafe Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
Follow company service standards, core values, grooming guidelines, and uniform requirements, including wearing slip-resistant shoes.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in assigned work areas, using appropriate cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Keep equipment clean and in working condition and report issues to management.
Coordinate with kiosks and the shared kitchen to keep grab-and-go products stocked and available for sale.
Load carts with products from shared kitchens and stock areas and deliver them efficiently to restaurants, kiosks, and retail stores.
Maintain stock areas and rotate products.
Perform light maintenance.
Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
Assist team members with stocking items.
Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food safety requirements.
Receive products and promptly store inventory properly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
