About The Position

The Utility Worker supports the Maintenance Department and Technicians by preparing vehicles for service, performing vehicle and facility cleaning, and assisting with light maintenance. The role ensures vehicles are fueled and fluids are topped off, and includes vehicle interior inspections. The Utility Worker reports to the Operations Management team and records the time and materials used for each assignment. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and solve problems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift more than 25 pounds, climb stairs, and remain on one's feet for extended periods.
• Must possess a CDL.

• CDL Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are fueled, fluids are topped off, and vehicles are ready for service.
• Support the Maintenance Department and Technicians with vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, fueling, seat repair, fluid checks, and facility maintenance according to established schedules.
• Inspect vehicle interiors and perform light maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report unsafe practices or conditions to a supervisor.
• Record time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provide automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
