Utility Worker Needed for School Food Service

About The Position
The Utility Worker supports school food service operations by helping keep the kitchen and food service areas stocked, organized, and clean. The role involves receiving and putting away deliveries, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, cleaning floors and work areas, and following food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift, with no weekends or holidays and summers off.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or more.
- Must be able to obtain required clearances and documentation to work in a school environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Stock and organize food and supplies.
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Put away food and supply orders.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food service areas.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and other duties as assigned.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
