About The Position
The Utility Worker supports kitchen operations by washing dishes and equipment, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, receiving and organizing vendor products, and assisting with food preparation. The role requires strong customer service while representing both the client and NEXDINE Hospitality. The Utility Worker reports to the General Manager and may be assigned other duties by the Chef Manager. This is a full-time position in Waltham, Massachusetts, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with a starting pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour and weekly direct deposit.
Requirements
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Dependable.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other equipment by machine or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Receive products from vendors and organize stock.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.
- Assist with food preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef Manager.
- Provide great customer service while representing the client and NEXDINE.
