About The Position

Our client in Elkton, MD is seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility Worker to join their team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a daytime schedule of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace policies.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, and floors.
• Clean and maintain employee breakrooms.
• Sweep and mop production and warehouse floors.
• Wipe down containers, equipment, and other plant surfaces.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Receive, organize, and store incoming supplies.
• Manage uniform inventory and distribution.
• Wash, dry, and organize employee uniforms.
• Operate a forklift as needed (willing to train, certification is a plus)
• Assist with additional housekeeping and facility support duties as assigned.
