About The Position

This role involves working collaboratively with team members on the installation of water lines, insertion of taps on water lines, installation of new water meters, and the installation and repair of fire hydrants. The position requires maintaining all necessary licenses, certifications, and clearances without interruption, adhering to the assigned schedule, and complying with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Texas driver's license
• Good driving record
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and carrying
• Ability to perform kneeling, crouching, and bending
• Ability to perform pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Responsibilities

• Installation of water lines
• Insertion of taps on water lines
• Installation of new water meters
• Installation and repairs of fire hydrants
• Performing other assigned duties
• Maintaining all necessary licenses, certifications, and clearances
• Working the assigned schedule
• Complying with City timekeeping and attendance policy
