About The Position

The Facility Utility Technician performs a variety of tasks across the facility as needed to support production operations. Duties include general housekeeping and sanitation, weed control, cleaning tank vents, painting, basic equipment cleaning, and other assigned activities. The role supports Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) through interior and exterior plant cleaning and sanitation.

The technician works safely in various Facility Maintenance capacities, demonstrates urgency regarding Safety, Quality, and Productivity, and maintains a positive attitude and initiative to learn and improve professional skills. The position requires the ability to work with minimal direct supervision and use independent judgment about work tasks. Duties may change to meet production needs and may be assigned by management.

The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, subject to change based on business needs. The role requires frequent use of the wrists, hands, and fingers, often standing and lifting for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to learn or knowledge of facility maintenance operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to perform active work, including frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements and standing or lifting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform work in various Facility Maintenance capacities.
• Perform general housekeeping, basic equipment cleaning, and sanitation inside and outside the plant to support GMPs.
• Control weeds, clean tank vents, paint, and perform other facility tasks that support production operations.
• Demonstrate urgency regarding Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Show a positive attitude and initiative to learn and improve professional skills.
• Work with minimal direct supervision and use independent judgment regarding work tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production needs.
