About The Position

The Facility Utility Technician performs a variety of tasks across the facility as needed to support production operations. Duties include general housekeeping and sanitation, weed control, cleaning tank vents, painting, and other facility support activities. The role works in various capacities in Facility Maintenance and performs basic equipment cleaning and sanitation inside and outside the plant to support GMPs. The schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to learn facility maintenance operations or existing knowledge of those operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in various capacities in Facility Maintenance.
• Perform general housekeeping, basic equipment cleaning, and sanitation throughout the interior and exterior of the plant to support GMPs.
• Perform weed control, clean tank vents, paint, and complete other tasks that support production operations.
• Demonstrate urgency regarding safety, quality, and productivity.
• Show a positive attitude, initiative, and commitment to continually learning and improving professional skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production needs.
• Work with minimal direct supervision and use independent judgment regarding work tasks.
