About The Position

The Utility Technician works at the company’s North Houston, Texas service center and helps prepare, handle, maintain, and track rental equipment and materials. The role supports customer service and safe, accurate operations in the yard and warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Embrace and promote a safety culture.
• Be a positive, self-starting team member who can work in a fast-paced environment and deliver consistent quality.
• Be reliable and committed to quality performance.
• Ability to work overtime, travel, and be on-call.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically weighing less than 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rental equipment and materials using large and small forklifts.
• Prepare rental equipment for delivery and verify the quality and accuracy of equipment counts.
• Clean and put away rental equipment when it is returned to the service center.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory of rental equipment and accessories, including performing cycle counts.
• Wash rental equipment.
• Inspect and repair cable.
