Utility Support 3rd Shift
About The Position
This position supports manufacturing operations by navigating the KIWI system and locating stock for manufacturing machines so materials can be processed in converting. The employee moves stock to and from machines on automated stock carts while maintaining accurate counts and locations. The role also supports operators, apprentices, and fork truck drivers, and is responsible for the safety and cleanliness of equipment and the work area. Overtime is required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Candidates must undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.
Requirements
- Ability to navigate the KIWI system and locate stock for manufacturing machines.
- Maintain count and location accuracy while moving stock to and from machines on automated stock carts.
- Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer and before starting employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated T cars.
- Navigate the KIWI system to load and unload work in process (WIP) to and from machines.
- Assist fork truck drivers with locating and directing KIWI WIP activity.
- Manually push stock.
- Offload corrugated material from machines.
- Assist operators and apprentices as needed.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of equipment and the work area.
- Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work required overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
