About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members on the line for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent safety record
- Must not have any active safety violations
- No suspension in the previous 12 months
- Must complete their 90-day probationary period

- Demonstrates working knowledge of at least 85% of the job functions, processes, and responsibilities within the department.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrated dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and other applicable company policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a food production environment, including exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, noise, and food production odors.
- Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work in a food production environment that may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, wet conditions, and a fast-paced work setting.
- Employees must have three (3) points or fewer and maintain three (3) points or fewer to remain in their position.
