About The Position

This position is responsible for setting and tearing down plasma separation and filtration machines to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Excellent safety record
No active safety violations
No suspension in the previous 12 months
Completion of 90-day probationary period
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated dependability in meeting work schedules and job responsibilities
Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, and other applicable company policies and procedures
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to safely work around moving equipment and machinery while following established safety procedures
Ability to work in a food production environment, including exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, noise, and food production odors
Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift, move, or otherwise handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds
Ability to work in a food production environment that may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, wet conditions, and a fast-paced work setting
