About The Position

Ardent Mills is seeking a full-time Utility Operator for its Albany, New York production facility. The role maintains and operates various utility systems and equipment and performs sanitation duties to meet food safety requirements essential to production. Utility Operators help ensure the smooth, efficient functioning and food safety compliance of plant operations. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. The position requires regular on-site presence; schedules may vary with business and operational needs and could include shift work, overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities where applicable.

Ability to work safely while performing physical tasks that may include bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while using required personal protective equipment, including a dust mask.
Ability to work in elevated areas four feet and above.
Must be clean-shaven when performing tasks requiring respiratory protection so a respirator, including an N-95 dust mask, can form an adequate seal.
