About The Position

The Utility Machine Operator is responsible for filling in for vacation/absenteeism and must be able to perform all jobs and operate all machines in the department. The starting pay for this position is $23.70/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift. Hours are 3pm-11pm.

Requirements

3 months of operator or manufacturing experience listed in the work history or skills section
6 months of work history in 12 months to be considered
Must not have been terminated from previous employer for attendance or job abandonment
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
Must be able to flex/grip with wrists/hands
Must be able to walk, bend, and stand
Must be able to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator

Responsibilities

Operating machinery
Understanding specs of the product being ran
Documenting both on paper and electronically machine setting, weights and other data as needed
Assembling, disassembling and cleaning equipment when needed
Communicating issues to lead and supervisor
Keeping a legible accurate record as required including entering data as needed into a computer-based system
Performing any other work as assigned by supervisor
Complying with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
Performing all positions of rotation, if applicable
Operating a Power Industrial Truck
Using and reading scales and thermometers
Performing basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator
