About The Position

Miscellaneous labor associates perform assigned duties to help meet operational requirements. They report to the production supervisor for the shift to which they are assigned and follow the direction of the equipment operator when they are assigned to a machine crew. Primary duties include following all safety rules and practices, reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements, identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders, performing assigned duties to ensure production needs are met, assisting other associates as needed, accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment, inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications, identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials, accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records, keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations, maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping, maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform the duties/responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
  • Ability to use basic shop math
  • Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
