About The Position

Allegion is hiring a Utility Operator to operate and maintain machines and operating systems so production runs smoothly. The role involves following standard operating procedures, setting up tooling or stations, monitoring and documenting production processes, verifying completed and inspected work, maintaining the work area and machines, and supporting team members. Training and development are available. This position is for second shift, with an hourly starting pay of $19.08 plus a $0.75 shift differential.

Requirements

• Previous operating experience.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass required drug screening and background checks.
• Team-player attitude.
• Manual dexterity.

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Set up tooling or stations according to SOPs.
• Monitor parts during production to ensure quality and accuracy, and document operations performed.
• Verify that operations have been inspected and completed before moving parts to the next work cell.
• Organize and maintain the work area.
• Maintain machines according to preventive maintenance documentation.
• Perform advanced tasks under minimal supervision.
• Assist less experienced team members.
